The Eppley Institute is partnering with the National Park Service Office of Communications to develop a suite of courses to improve communications decision-making, consistency, and professionalism. These courses are designed for park professionals in federal, state, county, and municipal public lands agencies and non-profit organizations that are responsible for communicating with the public.

This is an asynchronous course of study and has no prerequisites. There are five thematic topic areas, each of which contains up to five full-length courses or modules. Students may take the courses under each thematic area in whatever order they find most useful. As a model for how this course can apply in real-life situations, this course uses communications by National Park Service employees who have collateral duty responsibilities pertaining to communications, marketing, and public affairs.
